boston
I just got done running the San Diego marathon. Last year I ran it in exactly 4 hours. This year I trained harder lost weight and made my goal. I was able to take off 47 minutes and finish in 3 hours and 13 minutes. I have reached my goal to head to Boston. Next month I will try my first olympic distance triatholon. Lose a couple more lbs, get down to my fighting weight and dominate.

I am now starting to tapper for my marathon and it feels a lttle strange as if I have already acclomplished my goal. However I know in three weeks is when I will be trying to finish my first marathon. I am also working on getting ready for a half triatholon. I got back on a road bike for the first time in about 10 years and can’t believe what fun I was missing. I still am not totally comfortable going down hills at top speed but am working on it. Swimming is the toughest part of the workouts I still look a little like a drowning cat but am up to a continuous mile.
